Note: Workflow subjtct to change to suit your project's needs
Based on your project brief we will:
Rapid prototyping allows us to set exacting guidelines for our Visual Prototyping and Design stages (below). We establish your desired site structure and provide you with schematics for all key pages/templates. These designs identify the following basic elements and their rough position within a page:
Using data acquired during Discovery regarding target audience, perception of brand, its style and tone, we provide you with two or three variations on the site’s visual design. Upon your review, we choose the final concept, or proceed with further prototyping until our final design meets your expectations.
We apply the established visual concept to the site’s key templates. Resulting comps are presented and, if necessary, modified based on your feedback.
Once design of all key templates is finalized, we prepare a detailed specifications document to serve as a master guide during development (and for future design work.) This document will outline the following information:
At this stage, we prepare and optimize images used in development
Our development team creates an alpha version of the site (functional but with possible errors/omissions) for your internal review. During development, the alpha site resides on our test server and access is password-protected. Based on your feedback/QA, we then produce a beta version of the site. Once we complete development, we transfer the site to your hosting environment.
We provide any training required for the use and maintenance of your site.
Bring out the champagne! We remove all password protection and the site goes live! During the first week, you report any performance-related issues and we provide appropriate solutions. We establish your desired site structure and provide you with schematics for all key pages/templates.
